We love Ice Cream....But who Doesn't!!!

One of our favorite family summer traditions is just plain eating Ice Cream!!!! Daddy scopes out the ice cream and thinks James is ready for a cone. What a mess?? But so much fun!! And just plain yummy. We used to go for ice cream once a week but as our family grows it makes more since to just stay home and ENJOY!!!!! Yum!

Swelling?

Who takes pictures of their feet?!?!?!

I am that crazy person. I have to say that I have only had a few day of swelling this summer but those day really did me in. The occasions: getting a pedicure? I question that relaxing day and I don't believe that my feet should have swelled but they did. Maybe it was because of all the itme we journeyed Maine. The second time was after a day of walking at OSV (Old Sturbridge Village). Yes that was a long day and I totally see why my felt like my feet were a ballon and were swore. I am thankful that my feet don't feel this way every day! Thank you Lord!



There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the swelling though. I really thought I would have swelling after walking into Breakheart but no my feet were fine. Davis Farmland even after getting stuck there longer then I planned - nothing!! I guess I can't complain and just plain have to be thankful to God that even in this hot summer my feet haven't gotten it to badly!!!

Relaxing in Salisbury

We took a ride to visit our good friends the Wilson's. It was nice that Mr. and Mrs. Wilson sweetlyremembered to say Happy Birthday to Adriana when we arrived. This was the first time they had seen here since her birthday!!! Mrs. Wilson got Adriana's birthday bag as Evan and James sang Happy Birthday!

Shortly after opening her present we all got into our swim suits and went outside. The children first played in the rock park on the side of the house. They have a sand box, water table and large plastic slide!

Was we approached the pool we were introduced to the two frogs, Chocolate and ??? (I forget the second frogs name) , that live in the Wilson's pool.

We didn't know we were going to be able to swim with the frogs at the Wilson's pool. It was free of charge, lol!

James wasn't and really hasn't been big on playing in pool water. He gets cold (bored) fast!!! He was enjoying putting his feet in for a while!

We enjoyed a nice yummy pizza lunch!! And after fruit pops for the children and yummy iced coffee for the mama's!!!

The best part is that Mama and Mrs. Wilson were able to enjoy a few different topics of conversation. As all mama's know that doesn't always happen when there are children around! Our family will be praying for yours in a special way, Heather. We love you!

Birth Bed and Laundry

I have been struggling since we got back from Maine to get our laundry folded and put away!!!

Every morning laundry is on my list of things to get done. I may get everything else on my list done but laundry has not happened yet, :(. I'm sure many of you are asking why it matters if I get the laundry finished. What's the pressure? Well look at the picture and the bed. The bed all the laundry is on is the bed I am birthing on. I must get the laundry done!!!! I was able to get the towels and wash clothes folded today before we went to the Wilsons'. Tomorrow it is my hope to get all the laundry folded and put away!!!! I need the Birth bed to be free for me and baby!!!

WE missed our Playgroups

We have a Friday playgroup that meets at our house during the winter and fall. In the summer we meet at a park. It has been such a long summer that we have hardly gone to the playgroup. Adriana has really wanted to see her playgroup friends so we decided we would stop in for a quick visit before going to relax by the pool in Salisbury!!

Adriana was so happy to see her friends. They were playing on the rocking horses. You would think she was too big for them but really they loved it!

Adriana love to find a secret girl place when she is playing with her girl friends. Unfortunately when there are boys at a park privacy doesn't last too long!

I'm little bias but isn't he just adorable!!!! God children always are!!!

Davis Farmland Fun - Lost and Found!

Our Fun and Adventure at Davis Farmland

We went to Davis Farmland to meet our good friends the Urban! It was a great day playing in the playground parks, splash park, petting farm, and on the hay ride. The worse part of the day was losing my car keys! We ended having to stay at the longer searching for my keys and then just playing until daddy rescued us. We had lunch at the park and then played in the splash park a little longer until daddy came to save the day!! The positive and funny part is in the end I found my keys. Where? Well they were on top of my car and fell off when I was driving away from the farm!! Fun day with a happy ending!
