Kit Kittredge

We went the the Strand Theather to see Kit Kettredge "An American Girl." We won tickets to the Strand, a local (I mean Clinton local) movie theather, last year. At the Strand is you can see a movie and eat dinner at the same time, not just popcorn dinner. They have places to put dinner either in front of you or beside you. It is a great place to see movies and the best part it is only $5.50. They only have one movie a week and not all movies come to Clinton. Adriana, Mama and James had a great time and really enjoyed the movie. Adriana also brought her doll, Kelly, to enjoy the American girl movie.

Scrub-A-Dub-Dub-James in the Tub

James loves the water. It is really fun to give him a bath. This morning he started splashing in the tub. I thought it was so cute I have to take this video. Adriana loves to hlep with tub time.

First day of School

Today Adriana started her first day of homeschool. The first lesson is "I Belong to God." We made a Hand Print and talked about how she is the only person God made the way He made her, her handprint is unique. The learning games are fun and the first one was looking into a mirror and asking her question about herself then explaining she is loved by God. Then we tape record tried to tape record an interview but our tape player did not want to cooperate. Instead we did a vidoe interview. Below is Adriana's inview. It is really cute. (Sorry about the sideway picture. I always forget I can't route a vidoe on the blog. )

After the vidoe we watch it together and explain that there is nobody like her. God made her and she is special and he loves her. It was a great lesson. Tomorrow our lesson is on "I am specially made." Fun!!!!

It was funny that the book Adriana picked up and said was her favorite book was a book called "My Favorite Book." She was being a silly girl. Got to love her.

First Foods

Today James ate his first few bits of an avolcado. If was really cute and messy. Daddy was not to excited about the mess but he wasn't feeding him. It was fun.

He is trying so hard.

Rolling Over

James started to roll over on our vacation last week. It was so fun because we were all there to see it. I had to share. Hopefully it doesn't mean he going to be like his sister. He is already trying to go somewhere. I'm not really ready for all this.

Lucky Mom

Whenever Adriana goes out to play she picks me flower, lucky me. Aren't they beautiful!!!!

Let's Go Fly a Kite

Today we went on a family job. Daddy went to work at his old high school friends house so mama and children to go along and visit. We had alot of fun.

Adriana and the boys mostly Hunter played together. It was a beautiful day outside so they went out side. At first the were digging in the dirt or in Adriana's case rocks. Adriana decide she wanted to jump on the trampoline. She was having a blast so one by one the boys joined her. Justice decided he was really bored and wanted to drive his mother crazy. That was a good time for Candee to pull at the kite. As you can see Justice decide he wanted the little ones to put the kite together and not participate.

Ofcourse when we went outside to fly the kite Justice wanted to join us. Adriana got her turn first and it was crazy. She didn't get much flying in, she just ran and Hunter ran after her. All you could her was giggling and her singing "Let's go fly a kite......," Mary Poppins. Then Justice got a a turn. He got to kit up but then it got stuck the tree. Hunter also got a turn but much like Adriana, he was just running. After lots of patience on Candee's part both Adriana and Hunter got the kite in the air for a few minutes. They each go it really going. Adriana's soaring kite.

After tiring out with the kite Adriana and Hunter decided it was time to play on the tire swing.

Mrs. Graves joined Adriana and Hunter on the trampoline and popped them like pop corn. That looked really fun.

Hunter and Juctice really loved looking at James. Hunter even got a chance to hold James.

Loving One Another and big helper

James really has started to show alot of interest in his big sitster. She enjoys making him laugh and he just loves to watch her. Check out this vidoes of Adriana making James laugh. The battery died all of a sudden but it is cute.

When James squeezes Adriana's finger we call it a love squeeze.

James drools and spits up alot and Adriana is a big helper.

She also helped to make dinner. Peeling carrot and for the first time she peeled them well. Great job Adriana!!

Laughing in his Bumbo

James looks so cute wet from drool and probably spit-up he is just laughing so hard in his cute baseball cap. Note this is a 0 - 3 month outfit and is going to be packed away because he is getting so big.

Doesn't the hat look so cute. I love it.
